A Los Angeles model and OnlyFans creator says she was kicked out of her upscale Airbnb rental after the host mistook her activities for X-rated video filming.
“What happened was really messed up,” Nyla Caselli, 23, told Jam Press of getting jettisoned.
The incident took place in March while the influencer was vacationing in Curaçao, a Caribbean island famous for its stunning beaches. She was reportedly staying with friends in a picturesque bungalow that cost a hefty $4,000 per night.
“I’d planned the holiday ages ago and I was looking forward to staying in the villa with a pool and it was really expensive,” the curvy Californian said.
The Post reached out to Airbnb for comment.
The influencer, known for sharing sultry swimsuit photos with her over 960,000 Instagram followers, was captivated by the luxurious accommodations. She decided to snap some bikini photos of herself and friends on the balcony.
However, Caselli’s photo-op didn’t sit well with the host, who woke her up shortly thereafter and told her to leave because they thought she was filming explicit content.
“A few hours after they left, the Airbnb host came to the room while I was sleeping,” the influencer said. “They told me they had ‘seen what I was doing earlier’ and that I had to leave.”
Caselli found the accusations ridiculous as she’d only taken non-explicit photos — and not videos — of herself in a swimsuit.
“I was literally in a bikini. It wasn’t anything crazy,” protested the model, who tried arguing her case but to no avail. They reportedly didn’t even budge when she explained that she had nowhere to go.
“They said it was inappropriate and I was filming porn and I had to go,” said Caselli, who theorized that they might’ve thought she was “filming adult content” because her “boobs are bigger.”
“I don’t know if they Googled me but the host just didn’t want me there at all,” she lamented.
A representative from Airbnb explained that Caselli was subsequently offered an alternative accommodation but declined and instead opted to resolve the tiff with the host herself.
She eventually booked herself a room at the Curaçao Marriott Resort for the remainder of her getaway.
“They greeted me with a blue island drink and made my stay better,” said Caselli. “It really helped my situation and made me feel better and safer.”
Nonetheless, the incident left Caselli anxious about the prospect of choosing an accommodation for her next jaunt.
“I’m planning on going to Italy next but I will definitely be doing my research on rules and where I’m staying,” she said.
