Using exercise to cope with persistent pain

Sam has always loved exercise. She’s consistently been fit and healthy, and even completed extreme challenges like a 50 mile bike ride. That all changed after she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and had to learn to cope with constant pain.

In her podcast episode with Joe Wicks, Sam discusses how she adapted to life with fibromyalgia, how this was shaken up when she was diagnosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis, and the impact her chronic health conditions have had on her mental health.

Plus, Sam shares why she felt she lost her identity when she first became ill and how she’s rebuilt her relationship with exercise to find herself again.
